How to log-in to the PIT Catalog (PIT Cat)

Every Library patron has 2 separate login credentials to access the Library resources:
1. PITCat - Library catalog of physical resources available in the Media campus Library
2. EZProxy - The same Username and password as "my.pit.ed" is used to access ALL online library resources, i.e., databases.
- Create an EZ Login to make your login credentials easy to remember. Choose whatever EZ Username and EZ Password you want to set up your EZ Login.

How to create your PITCat EZ Login
to match your "my.pit.edu" login credentials
- Log in with your library credentials on PITCat (https://piot.tlcdelivers.com ). [Your first name] Account slides out to the left.
- Click the arrow to open the drop-down list of Account options, and then click Account Summary. Refer to the example below.
- The Account Summary page displays. On the left side of the screen, click EZ Login to open the Create EZ Login dialog. Refer to the form shown below.
- Note: If you do not see the EZ Login option, but instead see EZ Username and EZ Password, you already have an established EZ Login. If you are not sure of your EZ Username, go to Account Summary. At the bottom of the screen, under the heading EZ Login, your EZ Username displays. View an example of the location of your EZ Username. Use this to reset your EZ Password. See Reset EZ Password for more information.
4. Type your EZ Username. Your Username is case-sensitive and should be the same as your "my.pit.edu" login name, ex. joe.student (do not include @pit.edu)
5. Type your EZ Password. Your password is case-sensitive and should be the same password you use to log in to "my.pit.edu"
6. Retype your EZ Password in the Confirm EZ Password box. If you type two different passwords, a message appears advising; Both password fields must match. Re-type your password in both fields.
7. Click Save. A green banner displays at the top of the screen, Your EZ Login has been created. The EZ Login option on the Account Summary page is replaced with two new options, EZ Username, and EZ Password. The screen changes to Change EZ Username.
- Note: If you ever forget your EZ Username, you can find it under Account Summary, EZ Login at the bottom of the page. View the location of the EZ Username in this example.
- Remember to log out when you have finished. After a certain amount of time with no mouse activity, you will be automatically logged out of PITCat.
